Encountour’s Pura Vida Alternative Spring Break offers an exciting opportunity for college students like you to make a difference, gain valuable life experience, and still spend some time on the beach!
You will spend one week volunteering in a rural community with a focus on supporting community members to achieve their self-determined community development priorities. Depending on your specific community, these priorities may include infrastructure projects, organic agriculture, environmental preservation, and more…
You will be immersed in a new and exciting culture. After each day’s volunteer work, your community will organize cultural activities, such as making chocolate from cacao beans, learning local dances, and playing soccer with local youth!
And to round it out, you will also have the chance to experience some of the best of Costa Rica, including a guided hike through the jungle, and time to chill-out on one of the country’s pristine beaches!
