What is a Student Outreach Director?

A Student Outreach Director (SOD) is a student leader who drives the campaign for international exposure at his/her university. They work on their campus to raise awareness for Encountour’s international volunteer trips. Student Outreach Directors are eligible to earn subsidized/free travel and/or cash. We accept a limited number of Student Outreach Directors, so be sure to apply soon!

Student Outreach Director Official Responsibilities:

Encourage students to participate in one of Encountour’s international volunteer opportunities.
- Develop relationships with students and organizations on campus
- Publicize and promote Encountour volunteer trips on your campus
- Provide compelling, accurate trip information to students
- Be available and approachable
Guide students through our sign-up process.
Conduct Information Sessions on campus.

Incentive Program

The Encountour Student Outreach Director Incentive Program is incredibly simple and rewarding. By signing-up just 6 people a SOD earns a completely free trip (without flight). A SOD may choose to earn trip subsidy or money and once an SOD has signed-up more than 6 people he/she can earn both. See the chart below for details:
