We’ve created a guide to help our participants with fundraising because we know that college students are on a budget. We want to help make volunteering abroad more affordable and thus more accessible to the overall student population.

Fundraising is a great way to support your international volunteer experience. Whether, you are working with a Student Outreach Director or individually subsidizing your trip, we know you can find success as long as you are willing to put in a little time and energy.

Most students who have volunteered with Encountour have done fundraising in some form; there have even been whole groups of 15 or more that have funded their entire trip through fundraising.
